Why is it a popular choice to slam and judge gay people? I don't see the big deal. How does a lesbian couple affect you? It doesn't unless said lesbian couple team up and take advantage of you, which honestly, you probably aren't their type. Seriously though, why the hell should ANY marriage whether straight, gay or even multiple, be banned simply because someone doesn't like it? In no way shape or form does 2 men getting married put a damper on my life or anyone else's.
If they are 2 (or more) consenting adults then who the hell cares? Yes, I said "or more" because honestly, if a man wants to marry 1,2,3,4,5 or more women, and they all are fine with that then they should be able to. We can't keep using the "it's against the Bible" crap, that card has been pulled way too many times and frankly, I am just tired of it. I'm sure when "God" made people (or so they say) he or she intended to make us the way we are. Had he or she wanted us all to be the same and be straight, he or she would have made us in such a way, right? Unless....*shocked face* he or she did not create us....Oh the horror....shame...SHAME.....Did I cover what you were thinking? I am one who believes in evolution not creation. But that is for a different blog.
Anyway, back to my topic of the day. I don't see how we (when I say we I mean we as the people of the US) can accept anyone from anywhere (as long as they come here legally) yet, we still condemn and criticize our own people for their way of life. We can accept that so and so came here from India and has a completely different way of life but we can't accept Tim Smith because *whispers* he's gay...I mean really? What the eff is that about? Tom and his boyfriend aren't going to force you to marry them too, so why do you care that they want to get married? You don't have to go to the wedding, give presents, have sex with them, or even see them. So why stop them? If the Bible is your very best answer, then guess what, enjoy hell you hypocritical s.o.b. Yeah, I said it. If you are going to follow one rule in the Bible, follow them all. You can't pick and choose the parts you like. So be prepared. The Bible also says a person cannot wear clothing of different materials. So your undies are against that. Deut 22:11. If you wear strange clothing, God will punish you too. Zeph 1:8. Also, make sure that (if you are a woman) if you are raped "in the city" then both you and the man are to be stoned to death by that city because you didn't cry out. Deut 22:23-24. Sounds fair to me. Ok I think I have made my point there. I will go more in depth on my criticism of the Bible another time.
More often than not, gay couples don't want to get married in a church. There are plenty of officials that can marry 2 people without God even being a part of it. That's what I plan on doing when I get married. I won't step foot in a church unless I absolutely have to.
Being gay is NOT a choice. People are born that way. No matter what all of you non believers say, it is not a "chosen" way of life. Look at it this way. When did you choose to be straight? Don't worry, I'll wait. Thing is, you didn't choose it, you just happened to be attracted to a certain person. No matter how much someone denies it, you cannot help who you become attracted to. At a very young age you start to notice girls/boys, BUT most children have already been conditioned into believing "boys like girls" and "girls like boys", not "you like who you like". So it's only natural that they will get crushes on the opposite sex. However, when they are at "that age" they will notice a certain boy/girl in a different way. If a young boy happens to like another young boy he will most likely not tell anyone and try to ignore it, because he has been led to believe the same "boys like girls" thing. Why would someone "choose" to be discriminated, hated, criticized, made fun of, beat up or killed? No one would "choose" those things. No one likes to be made fun of, it is hurtful. By the way, for all you men out there that don't like "fags" but like girl on girl action, go f@#! yourself. Seriously, I mean that. It's okay for two girls to go to town but not okay for two guys? I think not, asshole. Gay is gay, whether it's two females or two males. Stop giving everyone your B.S opinion, we don't give a flying f@#!. Go preach somewhere else.
One last rant, to all of you religious, bible thumping, Jesus freaks that like protesting the funerals of fallen soldiers. I hope you die a slow, agonizing, horrible death. I can honestly say that. How dare you protest the funeral of someone who died to help keep this country the way it is. How dare you brainwash your children into believing that same hunk of shit. How dare you impose on the families of those soldiers and hold signs saying horrible things. Who the hell do you think you are? Isn't "God" supposed to be the one to judge and NOT YOU?? That's what your beloved book says. "Thank God for dead soldiers" Really?? You protest because why? Oh, that's right. God killed those soldiers because gay people exist. Come on....nice way to not take the blame for your own actions. You protest because you are all hypocritical Nazi's that thrive on the pain and suffering of others. You make me sick. Your children should be taken away to be "de-programmed" and live with a loving family. How can you teach them to hate so strongly? How can you not see that is wrong? You think when you stand outside those "pearly gates" that you will be safe? I don't think so. I believe each person has the right to say what they want but how about have some morals and leave the grieving families alone. When or if I happen to hear about the death of any one of you, so help me, I WILL find a way to protest that and see how your family likes it.
How about we all stop hating one another and learn to accept people for ALL of their differences. Alright, I'm out! FCKH8!

Irritation
I am so sick and tired of people bad-mouthing and judging others by their choice of "expression". What one chooses to wear or do is their own business and no one else's. Tattoos and piercings being one of the main things I am referring to. Just because a person has 5 or 50 tattoos or piercings, it does not mean they are a bad person. Everyone is entitled to do as they please and if I want to be covered head to toe in tattoos, so be it. I don't like a lot of things people wear, but that doesn't mean I have the right to criticize them for it. It's extremely annoying. How can you "tell" that someone acts or is a certain way when you don't know them and don't even bother taking the time to know them.
I don't understand how an employer will hire/not hire someone based on their physical appearance. How is someone's look (unless they are obviously not clean) a determining factor in jobs? If someone has dreadlocks, purple hair, piercings or tattoos, they are not necessarily going to slack off or constantly call in. In fact, most of the "freaks" I know are more reliable than some "normal" people. My choice of expression should NOT be a determining factor on whether I get a job. My tattoos/piercings do not inhibit any type of work I could possibly do. My career path should not be limited to *A* and *B*. I should have everything open to me based on skill and knowledge. If I go to school to be a Doctor, then I should be able to work as one as long as I am able to do the job well. If I cannot handle the work, then by all means, I should not have the job. Someone who is perfectly able to work and applies for a job they can do, why should they not be hired?
Say you own a very nice restaurant. You need a bartender and have a lot of applications. Out of that stack you find 2 people with better resumes or experience than the rest. One of the applicants has great references but little experience in the restaurant setting. While the other has several years in a restaurant setting, excellent references, schooling, etc. You call both in for an interview and the person with the outstanding resume has tattoos on their arms and a few piercings in their face (use your imagination). While the not as good applicant is "normal". Which would you hire? Would you not hire the person with the awesome experience based on the fact they have tattoos/piercings and hire the person with limited experience just because they look "better"? If you wouldn't hire the good applicant, you are one of the many hypocritical people I cannot stand. Yes, I say hypocritical because, while you think tattoos are "abnormal" or "freakish", others may think the same of your chosen lifestyle. Your opinion of someone else is not the rule the rest of us have to abide by.
I don't particularly like when women, 20 yrs and up, wear pigtails. They think they look cute or whatever, but to me it seems childish and looks tacky. But I would not base my opinion of them off of that alone. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean that someone else can't do it.
We live in a country full of people of different sizes, shapes, colors, religions, genders, etc. Why should we all have to look the same? Each one of us should be accepted for who we are, not what we wear or choose to "decorate" our bodies with.

First...
So this is my first blog and I want to start by saying I do not wish to offend or hurt anyone by what I say here. It is not intended (unless otherwise stated) to piss people off. I just simply like to vent my point of view on any particular subject without being interrupted while doing so. I often have a different stand point than most people with my beliefs, from parenthood to religion. So again, if something I "said" pisses anyone off, I apologize in advance. Happy reading!
